Screw Anchors

Screw Anchors

Screw Anchors are manufactured and designed for safe and effective installation with minimal disruption to the surrounding environment, so can be used in a wide variety of environmental terrains.  Screw anchors are uniquely designed for onshore and offshore applications, making them versatile in many situations.

Screw anchors are an alternative method of pipeline buoyancy control to geotextile fabric weights, continuous concrete coating, and concrete bolt-on weights.

Engineered screw anchors for pipelines of various sizing and scales; from pipe sizes NPS 12 - 60.

Geotextile Fabri Weight

Geotextile Fabric Weight

The quantity, weights, and spacing required of geotextile fabric weights vary on each pipeline's design and buoyancy requirements.

The geotextile fabric weights are filled with local, natural aggregate and placed on the pipeline to provide long term buoyancy control. These pipeline weights restrict uplift with no risk to the coating, and they are as permeable as the ballast used to fill them, allowing groundwater and cathodic protection an easy path.

Continuous Concrete Coating

Continuous Concrete Coating

Continuous concrete coating is used for weighting long sections of pipeline in major river crossings, flood plains, swamp areas, and other open water crossings. The concrete coating provides extra protection and durability for the piping for optimal longevity and additional protection against corrosion and other environmental factors. Concrete coating thickness varies on a pipeline design and buoyancy control requirements.

Continuous concrete coating has a wire mesh and rebar as enforcement and protective padding to protect the pipe coating.  It provides structural integrity and balance to pipeline.

Concrete Bolt-on Weights
Concrete bolt-on pieline weights are used for a variety of wetland applications including flood plains and river crossings.  Every weight is cast with wire mesh and rebar for reinforcement and a protective padding embedded in the saddle to protect the pipeline coating upon installation.

Ideal for unstable, high-stress applications, including submerged in flowing water, and other sensitive environmental factors.  They are designed and sized for specific pipe diameters and cast with wire mesh and rebar for strength and reinforcement and padded to protect the pipeline from damage.
